PROMOTE COLLABORATION AND PARTNERSHIP DEVELOPMENT OF ALL ENTITIES AT THE STATE AND LOCAL LEVEL

STRATEGIES:

  • The Infant Mental Health Advisory Council (IMHAC-LA), composed of early childhood serving agencies will ensure opportunities for partnership development at the local and state level among its members leading to the infrastructure development

  • Develop collaborative linkages among employers, local leaders and organizations, and faith-based and nonprofit community groups so as to combine their resources and talents to create jobs, support work, and make low-income neighborhoods more visible.

  • Encourage community investment in working families - particularly childcare and health care - with the expectation that such investment will yield results in helping families succeed in jobs and improve the well being of children.

  • Develop collaboration among a range of community organizations and governmental agencies to address how best to serve clients with needs such as developmental disabilities, learning problems, substance abuse, mental health problems, rural isolation, and domestic violence.

OUTCOMES:

  • Approximately three hundred and seventy (370) individualized ECSS Family services plans will be developed and implemented during the Federal Fiscal Year of program operation.
